FAQ

You can book a guided tour in three ways:

  • directly via the website (Regiondo)
  • by contacting S-wan through the contact form on the website
  • by contacting S-wan via email: info@s-wan.be

If you do not book via the website, S-wan asks you to provide the following information:

  • your name
  • your contact details (email or telephone/mobile number)
  • the desired tour
  • preferred date and start time of the tour
  • number of people in your group
  • language in which the group will follow the tour (Dutch, French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian)
  • a mobile number of the group’s contact person (if different from the person booking)
  • preferred meeting location (if different from the starting point listed on the website)
  • optionally, the desired ending location of the tour
  • any additional information that may be useful for the guide’s preparation (e.g. mobility or age of participants, professional background, reason for the tour, specific requests…)

S-wan asks that you book your guided tour no later than five days before the date of the tour. This allows us time to find the ideal guide for you. If the booking is made on shorter notice, we kindly ask you to contact us directly at info@s-wan.be.

The maximum number of participants for your guided tour is 20. If the maximum is lower than 20, this will be indicated in the tour details on the website. If the number of participants exceeds 20 (or the maximum listed in the tour details), you must book a second (or possibly third, fourth…) guide. Exceptions of up to 24 participants may be possible upon request via info@s-wan.be.

You can choose from the following payment methods:

  • If you place your order online via the website (Regiondo), payment is made during the booking process through the online payment portal.
  • If you make a booking via email, you can pay in cash, by bank transfer, or via invoice.

If you do not book through the website (Regiondo), S-wan asks that you confirm your chosen method of payment when making the booking.

If you need to cancel a booked guided tour, the following terms apply:

  • In case of cancellation less than 5 days before the scheduled tour, a fixed cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking value will be charged.
  • For cancellations on the day of the tour itself, or in case of a no-show, the full booking amount (100%) will be charged as a fixed cancellation fee.
  • If S-wan is unable to carry out the tour due to force majeure, the agreement may be canceled without any compensation being due. Any amount already paid will be fully refunded.
  • If the customer is unable to attend the tour due to force majeure, any amount already paid will be refunded, minus an administrative fee of 10%.

If the customer requests to reschedule the tour (change of date, time, etc.) and S-wan vzw must carry out a rebooking, no cancellation fee will be charged. However, if the rescheduled group exceeds the maximum number of participants listed on the website, an additional guide must be booked.

S-wan only offers group tours. Of course, you're welcome to book a group tour for just a few people, but the group rate still applies.

Please note that it is not possible to join an already booked group as an individual participant.

The price of the guided tour, listed with each tour on the website, includes the services of ONE guide for the duration specified on the website.

Any additional costs—such as for chocolate tastings—are always clearly indicated on the website as well.

The price for the tastings is always listed alongside the tour on the website and is charged per person. Your total cost will therefore be the price of the tour plus the number of participants multiplied by the tasting price.

Example: You book a Chocolate Tour for 5 people. The tour costs €100, and the tastings cost €5 per person. Your total cost will be €100 + (5 × €5) = €125.

Yes, you can. The gift voucher is available on our homepage for a guided tour with a group of up to 20 participants at a value of €100.

Procedure:

  • Order your gift voucher via Regiondo and complete payment.
  • You’ll receive electronically: a booking confirmation from Regiondo, a proof of purchase, and a gift voucher with a personal coupon code.

Redeem your voucher easily:

  • Go to and select your preferred experience.
  • Add it to your shopping cart and enter your personal coupon code. The value of your voucher will be deducted automatically.
  • You'll receive the ticket as a PDF via email.

No, it is not possible to book a boat trip through S-wan. However, you can request in advance to end your guided tour at one of the boarding points, so that you can enjoy a boat trip right after your tour.

S-wan values feedback highly—it helps both the organization and the guides improve the quality of the tours where needed.

You can share your feedback in several ways:

  • If you booked via the website (Regiondo), you’ll receive an email from Regiondo after your tour.
  • The guide also offers you the option to leave feedback through a QR code linking to Tripadvisor or Google Review (via the bookmark you’ll receive).
  • Finally, you can always send an email to info@s-wan.be or use the contact form on the website.
